I have with my wife and kids, joined ATA Tae Kwan Do. Everybody is having fun and it seems to be a good discipline. But when does the money tree stop? Everytime I turn around I am getting hit for Black Belt Club, Leadership Training, Masters Club and etc. Also, the clothing and gear seems to change monthly and is very over priced for the quality.
When I was younger, I did more than a dozen years studying Shotokan. It was pretty hard core and taught you that you to function without looking like a padded up abdominal snowman.
Sometimes, I feel like I am getting taken for a financial ride… does any body feel the same?
